Plenty of QPR fans are happy with the club’s Twitter admin after he posted a GIF of Bright Osayi-Samuel’s winner the other day against Stoke.
Osayi-Samuel’s goal was a real moment of brilliance, managing to squeeze his finish past Jack Butland from the tightest of angles before completely turning experienced centre half Danny Batth.
The Twitter account poked fun at the Stoke defender by suggesting that the former Blackpool winger sent the defenders for an “early Batth”.
It was another vintage QPR performance as they managed to come back from 2-0 down to win the game 4-2 – a welcomed win for the club after they have been struggling to find the back of the net in recent weeks with the departure of Nahki Wells.
In fact, this was the first time since they thumped Swansea 5-1 in the third round of the FA Cup on January 5 that they have scored more than one goal in the game.
As you can tell from the replies below, many were delighted with the club’s Twitter account…

Amazing Goal. I haven’t seen a acute angle like that since Andriy Shevchenko vs Internazionale, December 2001

QPR are currently in 16th and are bang in between both the play-offs and the relegation zone in terms of points. They are 11 ahead of Wigan Athletic in 22nd who have 31 points, and they are 11 points behind Preston in sixth on 42.
This is the Championship and anything can happen, but it seems as if QPR are set for a fairly relaxed rest of the season.
Fans are still getting their money’s worth, though, considering only one team has conceded more than them this season – Luton Town – and only Brentford and West Brom have scored more.
