Gareth Ainsworth marked his first 90 minutes since returning from injury with a goal against Leyton Orient.

The R’s reserves buoyed by first team members Ainsworth, Fitz Hall and Matteo Alberti took the lead ten minutes before half time when the experienced Ainsworth fired home from fully 20-yards.

The winger showed great composure to stroke home from distance, and only several smart stops from Lee Butcher denied him a brace.

Rangers were looking like they could rack up a sizeable scoreline with the chances at their disposal, but just sort of ten minutes remaining the hosts struck.

Danny Bailey brought down Loick Pires with just short of ten minutes remaining and the influential O’s man stepped up to send Tom Heaton the wrong way and earn Orient a share of the spoils.
