Report Claims QPR Are Working On A Deal To See A Familiar Face Return

|

Earlier this morning it was being reported that Queens Park Rangers were endeavouring to get a second loan deal done for Burnley striker Nahki Wells.

The original claim came from Sky Sports a couple of hours ago but I’m not seeing any fresh updates.

Suffice to say, with the 29-year-old scoring nine goals in 35 starts for us in the 2018/19 Championship campaign, manager Mark Warburton fancies him back if Sky’s sources are correct as we look to add another option at the top of the pitch following the arrival of West Ham United’s Jordan Hugill the other week.

There wasn’t much in their report and they stated that Middlesbrough, Birmingham, West Brom and Bristol City were all interested in him, but they believed we were the front runners if a deal could be done.

With Massimo Luongo heading out of the club earlier today as well for Sheffield Wednesday, this is certainly a deal we should have the cash to complete.
