QPR make their third Sky appearance of the season this Saturday, as they make the relatively short trip up to the Madejski Stadium to face Reading. Both sides have recovered well from relegation last season and sit in the play-off positions, hoping to push up the league into the top two.

Much of the Royals` success this season has been on home soil, where they are unbeaten, winning four and drawing three; with Adam Le Fondre and Danny Guthrie each netting four times.

Last weekend against Derby, QPR were superb. I was pleased with the tempo of the performance and the way in which they continued to attack throughout the match. The second half performance from Matt Phillips was a real bonus and he should kick on nicely now.

Rangers will need to mirror that performance as they have been slightly lacklustre on the road of late, going two matches without finding the back of the net (D1 L1).

The injury to Alejandro Faurlin on Saturday was a real blow for the team, as the Argentine was starting to play very well. It means Redknapp`s midfield options are starting to grow thin and I wouldn`t be surprised if the R`s gaffer dips into the loan market for extra cover.
