QPR are considering a bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Freddie Eastwood if recent reports are to be believed.

The ex-Southend and Grays Striker, signed for £1.5m, has fallen out of favour under current manager Mick McCarthy, who has opted to reunite with Coventry striker Kevin Kyle on loan until the end of the season.

Rangers have competition in the race for Eastwood`s signature in the shape of Crystal Palace, and the Welsh international will have a decision to make with the transfer window closing in.

The Striker has scored 4 goals in 24 appearances in all competitions so far this season, and has been used as a bit part player by the Wolves. This was on the back of an excellent spell with Southend where he scored 59 goals in 129 appearances in all competitions, a great return that earned him a call up to the Welsh squad.

Freddie would be a fantastic asset to the Rangers squad considering the exit of several strikers in recent days.
