The vacant managerial post at Loftus Road has drawn much interest from the world`s media, but a Spanish journalist believes Juande Ramos could be the new man at the helm in W12.

Rumours have been rife at QPR ever since the departure of Iain Dowie, and names such as Roberto Mancini and Terry Venables have been mooted as possible replacements.

Guillem Ballague has reported on his website guillemballague.com that QPR have approached the former Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur boss, but it is unknown as to whether he would be interested in managing in the second tier of English football.

Ramos would fit into the structure that is in place at Loftus Road with a continental style football set-up, involving Gianni Paladini as sporting director.

In a year at Tottenham Hotspur, Ramos took charge of 54 games, winning 21, losing 17 and drawing 16, picking up the Carling Cup and European football in the process, giving him a win percentage of 38%. Only a poor start to the season cost him his role at Spurs.
