Queens Park Rangers today lodged an appeal against the decision that saw defender Damion Stewart sent off against Norwich at Carrow Road.

The big Jamaican was given his marching orders by referee Mr. Phil Joslin inside the opening five minutes at Carrow Road, a game in which Rangers subsequently lost 3-0 courtesy of strikes from Ched Evans, Mark Fotheringham and Darel Russell.

Indeed let us pray that the F.A. don`t deem the appeal as frivelous, which was the downfall of Middlesborough`s Jeremie Aliadiere earlier this season after his playful slap on Liverpool`s Javier Mascherano.

Stewart will be looking to make a return pending a successful appeal against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, a game that has been declared an official sell out in all areas of the ground.
