Queens Park Rangers’ loan players are seeing a revival in their club’s fortune as Salisbury City move away from the drop zone.

Joe Oastler started his first game for the Whites at the heart of midfield and put in a commanding display in an eventual victory over Wrexham.

He was joined by Lee Brown, an ever-present in his loan spell, who played the entire game at The Racecourse.

Salisbury beat their relegation rivals courtesy of goals from midfielder Stuart Anderson and lone striker Matt Tubbs, the latter hitting a fine run of form since his return to the Whites.

Both Brown and Oasler received yellow cards in the second period, which wouldn’t have been out of place in the first team judging by the R’s poor discipline this weekend.
