QPR Youngster Set For Possible EFL Debut

|

Queens Park Rangers’ Swiss goalkeeper Senny Dieng is being linked with a half season loan out with League Two side Stevenage Borough today.

The 23-year-old joined QPR as a free agent from German outfot MSV Duisburg back in late August 2016 and whilst he’s been amongst our senior goalkeeping unit for training, he is yet to actually make his bow for us in the first-team. He did spend a spell with Whitehawk in the first half of last season though and he spent the latter part of the year out with Hampton & Richmond as he grew his experience.

Now it looks likely he will step up a gear and get a League Two senior debut this coming year as West London Sport report that they understand he is close to now sealing a switch out to the Lamex and Stevenage.

With reports that we are taking a look at their young defender Ali Omar on a trial basis – whether this loan is linked with any kind of deal for him, remains to be seen.

Be good for Dieng to get some real game time though so fans can really judge what he’s about and capable of, so now we wait for confirmation the spell has gone through.
