Dagenham and Redbridge defender Magnus Okuonghae has snubbed his latest contract offer in favour of a move.

Sky Sports report today (Monday) that Queens Park Rangers are one of the interested parties for the 23-year-old Nigerian defender who has impressed in the Daggers positive finish last season.

Owing to the defender`s age Dagenham will be due a compensation package for the defender who has also caught the eye of Peterborough United, Watford, Charlton Athletic, Milton Keynes Dons and Norwich City to mention a few.

Magnus` advisor Uben Grey said: ‘We can confirm that Magnus has rejected his latest contract offer, and we are know in talks with other clubs.’

The defender has a brief spell with Fulham at the beginning of his career before emerging through the ranks at Rushden and Diamonds playing 22 times and scoring once.

He also had brief spells with Aldershot Town, St Albans and Crawley before signing for Dagenham & Redbridge in 2007. After a brief loan spell with Blue Square Premier outfit Weymouth, he quickly established himself in the Daggers set-up – making 51 appearances scoring two goals.
