PLYMOUTH Argyle forward Jamie Mackie has made a long-awaited moved to Loftus Road following weeks of speculation.

The former Exeter City and MK Dons forward has signed a four-year deal in W12, and plies his trade both up front and wide in midfield.

The 24-year-old finished as Plymouth Argyle’s top scorer last season with nine goals, as the Pilgrims slumped to relegation under Paul Mariner.

He follows in the footsteps of Ákos Buzsáky who also moved from Home Park to West London in 2007, and he will link up with the squad in July after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
