QUEENS Park Rangers yesterday announced the signing of full-back Jake Bidwell.

The defender penned a three year deal at Loftus Road following a five year stint at Griffin Park. The deal is believed to be in the region of £1.3m for the former Everton man.

The 23-year-old full back had two separate loan spells with the Bees – before signing permanently in 2013, making just under 200 appearances for the Middlesex side.

He is sure to provide competition to Jack Robinson and the emerging Cole Kpekawa as Rangers bolster their defensive line for the second time this summer.
