Queens Park Rangers have reportedly had a bid turned down by Sheffield United for their goalkeeper Paddy Kenny.

The stopper that signed for the Blades under now QPR boss Neil Warnock will not have the opportunity to open talks with Rangers after Sheffield United dismissed the R’s offer.

The offer is believed to be in the region of £750,000 rising to £1m, and it is being reported in the Daily Mirror that this set-back may not deter Warnock from bidding again.

Kenny, 32 spent a season on the sidelines after testing positive for ephedrine and made his first appearance of the season in April.
