Reports have surfaced in recent days that a Stoke City bid for Akos Buzsaky has been turned down by Queens Park Rangers.

The Magical Magyar who signed for the R`s from Plymouth Argyle in October 2007 is reported to be the subject of interest for Premier League Stoke City.

At present the reports are tentative and a figure has not been forthcoming, nor have the official website confirmed the approach from the Potters, but it remains to be seen whether Tony Pulis can lure the Hungarian to the Britannia Stadium.

The attacking midfielder has suffered no end of injury woe at Loftus Road undergoing ankle surgery in the close season last season, before picking up an anterior cruciate ligament injury in the R`s Carling Cup defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

When he has played for Rangers he has proven himself a formidable asset, scoring some sensational goals combined with breathtaking skill and technique.

Buzsaky has made 38 appearances for Queens Park Rangers in total since joining under Luigi De Canio, scoring 11 goals. He also has 13 full international caps for Hungary scoring a solitary goal.
