Antonio German has been recalled to Loftus Road from his loan spell at Southend United.

Rangers activated a 24 hour recall clause in German’s contract which sees him return from Roots Hall with a solitary goal to his name.

In seven games with the Shrimpers, German netted once against Macclesfield Town in the FA Cup before being left out of the squad for Southend’s 2-0 victory over Cheltenham Town.

German now returns to W12 to fight it out with several experienced front-men for a place in the QPR squad to face Leeds United.
