QPR Pick Up The Win As 28-Year-Old Steps Up His Individual Showing

|

Queens Park Rangers picked up their fourth win in the Championship on Tuesday evening as a solitary Toni Leistner goal in the second half saw us to a 1-0 victory over Reading.

Having headed to the Madejski Stadium for our latest tie, the hosts had possession and the greater chances overall, but we limited them to one effort on target but registered four on target ourselves so we did probably deserve it in reality and even if some think we didn’t, we’ll take it anyway.

Statistics website WhoScored gave Leistner their star man rating for his individual efforts in the day as he did both a job in defence as well as attack and although he only had 38 touches across the 90 minutes, he picked up a rating of 8.12.

Mass Luongo, Angel Rangel, Jordan Cousins and Geoff Cameron completed the top five best performers on their ratings system but we had six players in total rank above seven on the evening, whereas Reading only had two players poll seven or above.

Small positives after recent disappointments at least.
