Neil Warnock has secured the signatures of two Premier League players in a bid to bolster the R’s promotion hopes.
Rumoured for quite some time Newcastle United and former QPR wide-man Wayne Routledge has returned to W12 after a successful initial spell ended January last year.
The fleet-footed winger helped push Newcastle over that final hurdle in the last campaign, and will be hoping that his talent can help propel Queens Park Rangers to the promise land.
He is joined by Blackburn Rovers defender Pascal Chimbonda who has penned a short-term contract following his release from the Lancashire club.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Wigan Athletic defender has signed until the end of the campaign despite interest from elsewhere and will provide adequate competition since the departure of Kyle Walker.
