Reported target Tamika Mkandawire has today signed for a Championship rival.
Millwall have managed to capture the young defender who the Ealing Gazette yesterday reported was odds on for a switch to W12.
The Lions have snapped up the former West Bromwich Albion defender on a two year deal and Warnock – if the original interest was genuine – will have to continue his search in defence.
Newly-promoted Millwall already have useful options in defence and the addition of Mkandawire as Rangers seek to bolster what was a generous defence last season.
