Tuesday evening’s game between Queens Park Rangers and Sheffield Wednesday gave fans at Loftus Road plenty to cheer about as we took all three points in a 3-0 victory.

Goals from Tomer Hemed, Luke Freeman and Nahki Wells gave us our sixth win of the 2018/19 campaign and although they were in the hunt for WhoScored’s star man award for the game, summer signing and centre-half Toni Leistner pipped them to that honour.

A good evening all around really with goals and assists shared about amongst the team and from WhoScored’s ratings, our control of the match was epitomised by the fact we had 12 players receive a rating of 7 or above.

Completing the top five performers on the day alongside Leistner were Pawel Wszolek (7.88), Hemed (7.83), goalkeeper Joe Lumley (7.82) and Freeman (7.72).

Back to back victories for head coach Steve McClaren’s side and four games unbeaten now, we’ve found some momentum and confidence should only build on the back of it.
