QPR Loanee Takes The Plaudits From First Win Of The Season

|

Brighton and Hove Albion striker Tomer Hemed showed exactly what he was capable of as he made his debut for Queens Park Rangers in the weekend’s tie with Wigan Athletic.

With four straight Championship defeats in the season of 2018/19 so far, Hemed took his place in the starting eleven alongside fellow Burnley loanee Nahki Wells and both men played a part in helping us to get over the line to the first three points of the campaign.

As previously covered, it was not pretty, but it was job done and the cherry on top in many ways was in keeping the clean sheet against the newly promoted side given we had conceded 13 goals already.

Taking to social media to laud the impact of the Israeli international, well, it’s fair to say fans were happy with what they saw of him as he led the line admirably and got himself off the mark for the year with his first goal at Loftus Road.

Based on that performance, especially if the squad showing can improve, it certainly won’t be his last goal in our colours either.
