QPR Fans Won’t Like This January Transfer Link

|

It might be fair to say it took former Swansea City fullback Angel Rangel a little time to settle in, in terms of apportioning credit to him for his own efforts in helping to turn our woeful form at the beginning of the 2018/19 Championship campaign around, but it’s obvious to everyone that his experience has come to the fore for us.

The 35-year-old came in as a free agent on a short term contract and fans know his deal is set to expire in January and there have been plenty of calls for the firm fan favourite to be handed a deal that keeps him at Loftus Road until at least next summer.

Those calls will only grow as over the weekend there was some unsubstantiated rumours that he could well be a target for MLS sides DC United and New York City, and a claim that Nottingham Forest and Norwich City might be looking to gain his services.

It looks to me like a November international break inspired piece of speculation really, but the closer we get to January without a new deal being done, it will sadly become more of a possibility.
