Few Queens Park Rangers fans will be unaware of the part that on-loan Brighton and Hove Albion striker Tomer Hemed has played so far this season when it comes to our turn in form in the Championship campaign, but Burnley loanee Nahki Wells has more than played his own part too and there are plenty in the fanbase who would like nothing more than to see both players signed up permanently on the dotted line.
With QPR taking a largely comfortable 3-0 victory over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, both strikers got themselves on the scoresheet as did Luke Freeman, but chairman Amit Bhatia took to social media (as fans will know) and Wells was the subject of praise.
Hey @nahkiwells…. nice finish ! 🤩

His Tweet went over incredibly well amongst the celebrating fanbase, but those who took the time to give their own thoughts were clear that we needed both players permanently moving forward.
Get him signed up for the long term!

Whether or not they get their wish comes down to Financial Fair Play and our restrictions, I have no idea whether the fact they came in during the August window affects our upcoming transfer ban or not – it may not be seen as a new signing or it might be?
We’ll have to sit back, watch and plenty will be hoping.
