QPR Fans Pick Out This Man For Praise Following Midweek Win

Tuesday evening’s victory for Queens Park Rangers over Bristol Rovers in the second round of the EFL Cup gave fans some much-needed cheer after we finally got off the mark in the 2018/19 Championship campaign.

Having taken our first three points of the year against newly promoted Wigan Athletic, we made it back to back victories across all competitions with a 3-1 win in midweek at Loftus Road to book our place in the third round draw.

Goals from Bright Osayi-Samuel, Pawel Wszolek and Matt Smith eased us to a largely comfortable victory although a late consolation for them was a disappointment on the clean sheet front.

With Osayi-Samuel getting us off the mark in the 4th minute of the first half, he was a quick go-to guy for praise for fans as they took to social media to react to the match, both during the game and following the full-time whistle.

With Osayi-Samuel arguably our best player in the game, if there was to be a criticism of the youngster it was simply better finishing would’ve seen him add more to the scoreline and increase his own personal tally.

But we’ll take that.
