Queens Park Rangers will take on Premier League Blackburn Rovers in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

The two sides last met in the competition in 2006 when a Craig Bellamy brace helped put Ian Holloway’s QPR to the sword.

As is customary to mention Queens Park Rangers are without a win in the FA Cup since beating Luton Town in a replay in 2001.

Rangers have been defeated by Arsenal, Swansea City, Vauxhall Motors, Grimsby Town, Nottingham Forest, Blackburn Rovers along with Luton, Chelsea, Burnley and latterly Sheffield United.

Could this be the year that Rangers overcome their demons? They will have to do it in the guise of Premier League opposition and Blackburn Rovers.
