Queens Park Rangers exited the Masters Grand Final after being comprehensively beaten by Middlesbrough.
A goal a-piece for Michael Meaker and Tony Thorpe was enough as Middlesbrough sent QPR packing at the first stage of the tournament.
Braces from Craig Hignett and John Hendrie along with a Graham Kavanagh strike saw off Rangers in a 5-2 win for Boro.
The QPR side can be proud of their achievements in conquering London, but this was a step too far for the Rangers legends, who will come back next year stronger for the experience.
