Press Make Expected QPR Claim With The International Break In Full Flow

|

Queens Park Rangers saw plenty of unfounded speculation during the last January transfer window when it came to player departures and on the subject of Luke Freeman he was heavily linked with Middlesbrough and Leeds, to the point where owner Tony Fernandes publicly promised on social media that he would be going nowhere.

Nothing came of the speculation thankfully, although it’s believed we did reject a firm offer from Tony Pulis’ side for the 26-year-old and given how our form has fallen off a cliff, I dread to think how bad it would be had he not been involved.

In any event, with the March international break in full flow and real news on the decline, we seem to be having a re-run of the same claims again, although the recent reports lean more heavily on interest from Leeds United.

There’s also a small pivot to a possible double deal including Ebere Eze, but it just seems a little too well timed and contrived for there to be anything substantial in it.

That won’t stop people discussing it though (like me).
