Park Ji Sung has probably been the biggest disappointment in a disastrous season. The South Korean international came to Queens Park Rangers with a reputation, this is evidence alone that reputations mean very little if you do not have the ability to reinforce that lip service.

He was hailed as a hard-working, albeit bit-part player at Manchester United, but from the very beginning it was clear that there was a gulf in difference between working hard and running around aimlessly.

In a poor season, Park failed to live up to a weighty reputation, he contributed very little in either the attacking or defensive third and will be remembered more for the income he undoubtedly garnered rather than his negligible ability.
