With the midweek Championship clash seeing Queens Park Rangers take a pretty comfortable victory over Sheffield Wednesday, positivity and optimism amongst the fanbase has obviously been given a boost.

Goals from Tomer Hemed, Luke Freeman and Nahki Wells at Loftus Road gave us the 3-0 win and it was our sixth win of the 2018/19 campaign so far and the points lifted us into 13th place in the second tier table, only four points off the Play-Off spots following Wednesday’s fixtures.

Given our start to life under head coach Steve McClaren where we couldn’t buy a win (probably Financial Fair Play related as well), the turnaround in form has been dramatic and rather bizarrely we are only six points off top spot – yet eight points from the relegation zone.

Who wouldn’t have taken that going into game 15 of the year?

One game at a time and all that jazz!
