BRADLEY Orr has left Queens Park Rangers for relegation rivals Blackburn Rovers

The defender played a key role in Rangers’ promotion to the Premier League but has found himself surplus to requirements in recent months.

He was ousted from his role by the experienced Luke Young, before the addition of Nedum Onouha spelled the end for the former QPR man.

He joins Blackburn Rovers in the midst of a relegation battle but will not feature against Newcastle United tomorrow night.

He said: ‘It just really excites me.

‘It is obvious they have got a great squad and it is a chance for me to try and establish myself as a Blackburn player and do as well as I can for the club.

‘It is a fight that I am very optimistic about.

‘When you look around the squad and you see the quality and experience, as well as youth, it only bodes well.’

Orr made 39 appearances for QPR scoring a solitart goal against Scunthorpe United.
