Nedum Onuoha has completed his transfer to Queens Park Rangers.

The 25-year-old defender had been linked with a move to Loftus Road for quite some time, initially while Neil Warnock was in charge of QPR.

It was announced yesterday that a deal had been struck for his services as personal terms were being ironed out for his services.

The defender has penned a long-term four and a half year deal in W12, signing for a fee believed to be in the region of £3,000,000.

He is capped for England at Under-21 level while coming through the ranks and playing for Manchester City his whole career to date.

The only breather from the Etihad Stadium was a brief stint at Sunderland on loan where he made 31 appearances for the Black Cats.

Onuoha is available for selection against Chelsea this weekend, and could partner Anton Ferdinand in the centre of defence.
