NEDUM Onuoha’s deal is far from done according to his representative

Agent and mother Dr Anthonia Onuoha has told Sky Sports that her son has not had permission to speak with Queens Park Rangers.

‘Manchester City officials have not given Nedum permission to meet QPR or any other clubs’ officials with a view to holding face-to-face discussions regarding a loan deal or permanent move.’

‘The latest report of a move to QPR this weekend is, therefore, totally inaccurate.

‘Nedum has two-and-a-half years left on his current Manchester City contract and will only make a move that is right both for his career and family circumstances.

‘We have a number of clubs interested in him. He will weigh up his options before making any decision.’

While many news outlets had Onuoha virtually signed, sealed and delivered it appears that his representative is trying to eke out more funds for her client.

Everton have also been linked with his signature but there are doubts that they can compete with the financial clout that QPR can provide.

Roberto Mancini meanwhile believes a deal can be done either today or tomorrow for the young defender.
