Canaries Irish midfielder Wesley ‘Wes` Hoolahan has been pinpointed by Vital QPR as the One to Watch as QPR make the trip to Carrow Road on Saturday.

Name: Wes Hoolahan

Date of Birth: 20/5/82

Former Clubs: Shelbourne, Livingston, Blackpool

Appearances (Goals): 326 (45)

Norwich will be keen to test their promotion credentials against top of the table QPR and Wes Hoolahan will be at the centre of Norwich`s attacking flair, as he looks to build on a recent hat-trick and an impressive 2010/2011 season. With 8 league goals to his name, the Rs players will have to be at their best to stifle one of Norwich`s best players.

Born in Dublin, Wes started his career with Shelbourne, winning three League of Ireland championships and was named PFAI Young Player of the Year in 2002/03. He also played 15 Champions League qualifiers before moving to Scottish side Livingston in 2005/06. He only had a brief spell in Scotland before moving to English side Blackpool.

Hoolahan soon established himself as one of the most gifted players amongst the Football League, and after slight controversy surrounding his transfer movements, he eventually signed permanently for Blackpool. In his two seasons at Bloomfield Road, the creative midfielder managed 16 goals in all competitions before Norwich signed the Republic of Ireland international in 2008.

‘Hot lips` opened his Canaries account in a 4-0 win over Barnsley, and has since established himself as the playmaker in a very attacking Norwich side. Utilised at the top of a diamond formation, the likes of Shaun Derry and Alejandro Faurlin will have to break up any creative force initiated by Hoolahan.
