Reading mercurial winger Jimmy Kebe has been identified by Vital QPR as the One to Watch as QPR welcome The Royals to Loftus Road on Saturday.

Name: Jimmy Kebe

Date of Birth: 19/1/84

Former Clubs: Lens, Châteauroux, Boulogne

Appearances (Goals): 130 (23)

Reading’s Mali international, Jimmy Kebe, will be his team`s main threat when Reading make the trip to W12. Prominently a winger, Kebe has caused problems for Championship defences all throughout his time at Reading and will have to be kept quiet in order for Rangers to get a first win in four games.

Although initially starting his career at French side Lens, he failed to make any appearances for the side and was sent out on loan to Châteauroux and Boulogne. Reading manager Brian McDermott spotted Kebe whilst he was playing for French Second Division side Boulogne, where he made 16 appearances managing to net twice, and Reading moved to sign the 26 year old from parent club Lens in January 2008 on a two and half year deal for an undisclosed fee.

An instant debut against Everton in the Premier League quickly followed and from there on he remained a first team regular. The latter part of the 2010/2011 season brought Kebe under the spotlight where he managed an impressive 11 goals in 25 appearances. The Malian will have his name penned in the Reading history books for a long time as his goal after only nine seconds against WBA in the FA Cup went down as the fastest in The Royals’ history.

With eight international appearances for Mali, including experience at the 2004 Olympic Games, Kebe has a shining reputation and after apparently being courted by Lyon, Reading will struggle to keep their star man. But whilst Jimmy is a Reading player the Rs players will have to be on top form to keep the pacy winger quiet on Saturday.
