Paulo Sousa will be determined to end QPR`s unbeaten start to the season, but Rangers will have to be on the lookout for The Foxes inspirational midfielder Andy King. Described by former manager Nigel Pearson as ‘an excellent young prospect`, the Welsh International is starting to make a name for himself in the Championship.

King became a product of the Leicester academy at the age of 15 after he was released by the Chelsea, having joined them at the age of 9. The midfielder signed a two-year contract with the Foxes in the summer of 2007, and went on to make his full debut against Wolverhampton Wanderers in October 2007. He went on to make a total of 12 starts during his first full senior season and his spectacular strike against Southampton was nominated for the club’s goal of the season award.

In the 2008/2009 season King scored nine league goals to help Leicester secure promotion to the Championship. His performances earned him the clubs` young player of the season award. On 22 May 2009, King received his first call up to the senior Wales squad when he was named in manager John Toshack’s squad for a friendly match against Estonia.

King has started the 2010/2011 campaign brightly, after a somewhat slow start to the season for Leicester, and Rangers will have to be aware of the young midfielder aiming to add to his tally of four goals already this season.
