Last Friday saw goalkeeper Joe Lumley in action in the game against Staines Town, so it meant that fellow Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Matt Ingram took his place between the sticks for Saturday’s tie against Wimbledon at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.
Wimbledon certainly put up a good fight in the game and we needed Luke Freeman to score a last-minute winner to take victory on the day but it certainly could’ve been different had it not been for Ingram between the sticks and one save in particular that the clubs’ social media team highlighted on a quiet Tuesday afternoon.

That was some stop from the volley by the man and it certainly garnered some reactions from fans.
It wasn’t just praise however, plenty pointed to the defending and how many headers were won by the hosts in the build-up to the save and for them, despite adding Toni Leistner in recent times, it rubbed in how we needed more of a height presence in the team before the Championship campaign of 2018/19 begins for real.
Hopefully Grant Hall can sort it out

Agree if he stays fit? Like Lynch injury prone, not much backup, seriously lacking depth, Baptiste a squad player.

Where's the marking? no challenge on the ball leads to easy shots
