Ian Holloway has ended his search for a new club after being named the new number one at Championship rivals Plymouth Argyle.

Ollie has been out of work since being placed on ‘gardening leave’ last February after rumours linking him with the then vacant manager’s position at Leicester.

Hoops chairman Gianni Paladini insisted that he would not sack Ollie, but also said he would not return.

The 43-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Devon club and fills the position left vacant by Tony Pulis, who returned to manage his former club Stoke 12 days ago.

After being announced a press conference, Ollie said:’I am all about pride and passion and I aim to bring those two things to Plymouth.

‘I feel, after 10 years shared between Rovers and Rangers, I have finally come of age as a manager as I have never played for Plymouth and yet they want me here as the man to lead them – and that’s what I intend to do.

‘As a West Country man this is a very proud moment for me. I am delighted to be here and cannot wait to get started.’

VITAL QPR would like to wish Ollie the best of luck with his new club (apart from when they play the Hoops of course).
