QPR striker Marc Nygaard is getting ‘frustrated’ because he just wants to regain his fitness and ‘show everybody what I’ve got.’

However everyone seems to be baffled by the injuries that have left him playing just five times for Rangers following his arrival in the summer from Brescia.

The 29 year old has suffered from calf, thigh and hamstring problems. QPR’s physio Prav Mathema says: ‘It’s something we need to get to the bottom of. He seems to keep breaking down for different reasons.’

Nygaard told the official site: ‘It is very frustrating I keep thinking I will be fit for the next game, but then I have a setback. It’s a shame as I feel I started to play some good football and the goals were going in. I am happy with the way I have adapted to English football, it is very physical and very fast.’

The Danish player is at a loss to explain the problems saying ‘Maybe it’s the lack of pre season or that I’m in a new country and new things for my body to get used to’ adding ‘I just want to get fit and show everybody what I’ve got! I want to help us push towards the play offs.’
