Queens Park Rangers have enjoyed a decent season so far and they are still in contention to finish in the play-off places when the campaign does resume.
Despite that, right-back has been something of a problem position for the R’s, with 37-year-old Angel Rangel struggling with fitness issues and coming to the end of his career, whilst Todd Kane hasn’t always convinced in his 25 appearances.
However, given the Spaniards age, combined with the fact he is out of contract in the summer, it would appear as though Kane could be the main man moving forward.

That’s a prospect that doesn’t fill the QPR fans with confidence though, after they were asked their thoughts on Twitter as to whether the former Chelsea man is good enough to play at this level week in, week out.
Is Todd Kane good enough to start each week in the Championship?
Yes
No
Whilst there was some support for Kane, it’s fair to say the majority don’t feel he is up to it. Here we look at some of their reaction…
I want to see Kakay given a go, he is underrated!

No chance. Good going forward but is so poor defensively and of course I hope he improves but we’ll have to see. I want Odubajo on a free

I like Kane, he’s proven at championship level, hasn’t really got going for us but I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

No he looks out of his depth. Hes lucky he has pace as it’s got him out of trouble on numerous occasions.

Honestly I think he has a lot of improvement to make a decent right back. His positional play is a weakness . He was a good signing and worth keeping but no1 right back is a stretch.

No, not good enough unfortunately.

No way. Can’t see how he has had the career he’s had given what we’ve seen. I’d love him to succeed but feel we’d be better off blooding Kakay #qpr
