Stefan Moore scored his first goal for Port Vale on Saturday and even though he came off after 62 minutes with a slight knock it has been agreed to extend his loan by a further month.

With an abundance of in form strikers, John Gregory was happy to extend the loan. It was thought, with the Aston Villa connnection he may have been given the chance to break into the Rangers first team, but it does now look that Stefan Moore will have to further his career away from Loftus Road.

Vale boss Martin Foyle announced his delight at keeping Moore for the next month. The Loan Ranger’s chances at Vale have increased since Michael Husbands lost his appeal against a three-game ban for his sending-off against Nottingham Forest last Tuesday.
