News: Commanding QPR figure wants “realistic expectations” for the Rs

|

QPR boss Mark Warburton has asked for realistic expectations for his side as we look to turn around a run of two points from 12 against a Fulham side who will be without Alexsandar Mitrovic – as he serves a one-match ban for picking up five bookings.

Warbuton, though, was pleased with how his side have performed this season but would like the media to keep expectations real. This does not mean he is giving up on promotion – he just wants there to be consistency when reporting on the Rs.

We currently sit in 10th place, and though we have not won in four, confidence remains high in the squad, and Warburton is doing a brilliant job of guiding us through this season.

A trip to Craven Cottage is always tough, but without Mitrovic, they lack a true goalscorer, and if we can keep it tight at the back, I think we can nick it.

The combination of Jordan Hugill and Nakhi Wells has brought 16 goals so far, and those two should be able to cause the Fulham defence some major problems.

Who is the better striker?

Hugill

Wells

I would back Hugill to bully Alfie Mawson, and as long as the service is good, both Hugill and Wells are a goal threat.

Warburton has managed us well so far, but we need to get out of this slump, and there is no better way to do that than to beat the Whites.
