Newcastle United are being linked with three signings from Queens Park Rangers.

The Ealing Gazette is reporting today (Wednesday) that defensive duo Damien Delaney and Fitz Hall are being linked with Tyneside alongside with a shock hi-jack for striker Dexter Blackstock.

Irish international Damien Delaney has been linked with a move to Roy Keane and Ipswich Town in recent times but it remains to be seen whether current QPR boss Jim Magilton would be willing to sell to his old employers.

Fitz Hall was signed in the January transfer window 2008 from Wigan Athletic and was billed as Rangers most impressive deals.

Since then he has fallen by the wayside and dropped behind Damion Stewart, Kaspars Gorkss and Matthew Connolly in the pecking order. A succession of injuries have contributed to his downfall.

Finally is the last-minute move to try and lure Dexter Blackstock from a move to Nottingham Forest.

The striker seems destined for a move to the City Ground despite the installation of Jim Magilton as manager in recent times.

The trio would cost Newcastle United the combined total of £6million according to the Gazette who believe a deal will only be in place once Newcastle slash their hefty wage bill.
