“Nearly Went Full Stuart Pearce” – These QPR Fans Loved 29 y/o’s Impact In Our Midweek Clash

|

Queens Park Rangers’ turn in form under new manager Mark Warburton continued in the midweek EFL Cup clash with Bristol City at Loftus Road.

Having taken victory over Stoke City on the Championships opening day, we backed that up with a point against newly relegated side Huddersfield Town, and in the Cup distraction on Tuesday evening, with the final score finishing at 3-3, we took a 5-4 penalty shootout victory to book our place in the second round of the competition.

Goals on the night came from Nahki Wells, Ilias Chair and Ryan Manning, and having returned on a second loan spell from Burnley and promised that QPR fans were yet to see the best of him, two games into his new spell, he reopened his club account, and although he probably should’ve added a second, he did win the 86th minute penalty that allowed Manning to send us into penalties.

Reacting to his performance on the night on social media, most QPR fans seemed delighted to have him back.
