McClaren’s Reign At Loftus Road Begins With Preston North End

|

Earlier this morning all 72 EFL member clubs discovered their fixture lists for the coming 2018/19 campaign.

With changes afoot at Queens Park Rangers this season as we waved goodbye to Ian ‘Ollie’ Holloway and said hello to former England gaffer Steve McClaren, he’s busy beavering away in the background to make us a leaner, younger and more financially savvy unit for the year ahead and although fans have one eye on transfer speculation and McClaren’s moves to strengthen the first team group for the battles ahead – anticipation for the coming season ramps us today with the all-important games announced.

We open the year at Deepdale facing Preston North End on Saturday 4th August, and the season 2018/19 campaign comes to an end on Sunday 5th May as we make the trip to Hillsborough to face Sheffield Wednesday.

With a few local rivals to face, as is usually the case, QPR renew partial rivalries with Swansea City, Stoke City and West Bromwich Albion as they join us in the second tier following relegation from the Premier League last term.

Now we see which games get switched and messed around with to suit the television audience.
