STEPHANE M’Bia has taken to Twitter to apologise to the fans after his red card in the defeat against Arsenal.

The Frenchman lashed out wildly at Thomas Vermaelen after an innocuous incident and has now been handed a three match ban for his troubles.

He stated on his Twitter account: ‘Im sorry about saturday. Ive learned for next time. Thanks to fans and team for the support. Very focused for next very important dates.’

Three of the very important dates mentioned above he will miss, with relegation rivals Reading and Southampton coming to W12, sandwiching a trip to Stoke City.

Despite a valiant effort QPR went on to lose the game with Mikel Arteta tapping home from an offside position for Arsenal.

M’Bia has also been linked to a bizarre set of quotes claiming that he thought QPR were based in Scotland – nevertheless the Frenchman must now contemplate a spell on the sidelines.
