Former Queens Park Rangers loanee Michael Mancienne has penned a year long loan deal with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The defender who has had two spells at Loftus Road impressed while on loan at Molyneux last season and was a surprise inclusion in Fabio Cappello`s England squad.

The Isleworth born defender made 61 appearances for the R`s under both John Gregory and Luigi De Canio, and has also made five appearances for the Chelsea senior team.

He will play the season at Wolves in the Premier League in a bid to impress new Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti.

Meanwhile at the other end of the spectrum 35-year-old Stuart Wardley is impressing at non-league Haverhill Rovers, who are hoping to persuade the versatile player to stay on at Hamlet Croft longer than the initial month.
