QPR fans have voted Wayne Routledge as Rangers man of the match in the R`s away win against Derby County.

Routledge burst onto the scene with QPR this weekend as he not only gave Mo Camara a torrid time in his full back berth, he also scored one and made one, in a 2-0 AWAY WIN for the R`s.

Wayne latched onto a loose ball in the heart of the Derby area to slam home from close range, before turning Mo Camara inside out to feed Mikele Leigertwood for number two. The full back was even cautioned in his attempt to rugby tackle Wayne to the ground, as he simply could not cope with the R`s newly found threat.

The R`s fended off Cardiff City for the signature of the highly rated former Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur man, and it proves an excellent moved as he wowed this pundits this weekend – elected into the Championship team of the week.

Here`s what you said:

sandydl: “I am opting for Routledge – because he scored one and created the 2nd &, by all accounts, was a great influence yesterday (Saturday). Just what we have been looking for!!”

Clonmany_Hoop: “He seemed to cause problems when he had the ball but also harried and chased when he didn’t have it.

“Would also mention Lee cook as he played a large part in the game also.

“Nice to have so many options for Man of the Match!”

bazzahoop: “Routledge by far what a great signing…”

Routledge came in well clear of the rest of the pack, when in truth there were several performances on the pitch that warranted the award this week.

The top three were as follows:

1. Wayne Routledge – 49%
2. Lee Cook – 8%
3. Mikele Leigertwood – 7%
= Radek Cerny – 7%
