QPR fans have voted Samuel Di Carmine as Rangers man of the match in the disappointing away defeat to Doncaster Rovers.

A somewhat surprising choice with Rangers once again drawing a blank in front of goal, it can only be assumed that the Fiorentina loanee`s effort and application was enough to earn him the plaudits.

Samuel once again started up front alongside Dexter Blackstock – perhaps the consistency he craved with their second game in succession as partnership.

The move saw Heidar Helguson drop out of the squad but has yet to have the desired effect with QPR seemingly unable bag an all important goal.

Di Carmine narrowly fended off competition from ineffective winger Wayne Routledge who struggled to make an impact on an ageing full back. Full backs Peter Ramage and Matthew Connolly came in joint thirds place with the former returning from a spell in the wilderness.

The top three were as follows:

1. Samuel Di Carmine – 23%
2. Wayne Routledge – 21%
3. Matthew Connolly – 10%
=. Peter Ramage – 10%
