QPR fans have voted Kaspars Gork?s as Rangers man of the match against Coventry City.

The Latvian international gave a commanding performance at the heart of the Rangers defence as he continues to impress in his role alongside Jamaican Damion Stewart.

The R`s have failed to impress in many departments in recent games, but one definitive plus point has come in the central defensive unit. Stalwart defender Fitz Hall is being kept out the side, and appears more likely to be deployed as a striker rather than displacing the impressive Latvian.

His aerial prowess in defence was well documented as he battled with former R`s loanee Leon Best and wily veteran Clinton Morrison who were reduced to pot shots from distance.

Kaspars came in well clear of the rest of the field picking up the vast majority of the vote.

The top three were as follows:

1. Kaspars Gork?s – 66%
2. Radek Cerny – 15%
3. Wayne Routledge – 8%
