Adel Taarabt is once again being linked with a move away from the club, but will QPR cash in on the Moroccan Marvel?

Rumours are circulating once more as speculation mounts concerning the future of midfielder Adel Taarabt.

Paris St Germain are the latest club to display an interest in the playmaker, whose performances earned him several plaudits last term.

With money of over £10m being purported by the media, would Queens Park Rangers be wise to cash in on what is a fine talent?

A match-winner in his own right, Taarabt proved the killer instinct in what was a solid Rangers side last time out.

Performances helped lift QPR from a solid foundation into title winners with cameos of skill, flair and above all ruthlesness allowing Rangers to lead the way.

We move forward to the present then, to what extent can Taarabt be considered invaluable to the QPR cause this season?

By cashing in Rangers would perhaps be selling a fine talent, but considering the club’s current financial policy, would possibly give themselves a better chance of safety.

By keeping Taarabt however, they could have that final piece of the jigsaw, that element of surprise that served them so well last time out – and push for safety in that manner.

Taarabt has made no secret of his ambitious nature and would be looking to move on to a top club, serving to quash recent rumours with Atletico perhaps not the Madrid he’d hoped to represent.

The only certainty surrounding the affair is that eventually Taarabt will move on – but where and when is open to debate.

A useful opening few weeks in the Premier League would make matters very interesting indeed as the transfer window ticks on, but would you really want to see such a valuable talent sold, regardless of price, in what is the infancy of his QPR career?
