Jamie Mackie has urged Queens Park Rangers to be on their game as they face a tricky test to Hull City this weekend.

Mackie played a key role in Rangers crucial win over Cardiff City this weekend and despite holding out hope for QPR this weekend is warning QPR to guard against complacency.

‘Cardiff was brilliant but that old saying it is only three points and the same goes for Hull,’ Mackie told QPR.co.uk

‘There’s no point on beating someone on your own patch and getting a negative result away from home. I’m sure we’ve got enough to go up there and get a good result. If we’re on our game I’m sure we’ll get a result.’

The striker who has bagged eight goals for QPR this campaign stressed the importance of everybody playing to their maximum as a team, including the man on top form, Adel Taarabt.

He continued: ‘We’ve got to go up there and be right on our game, every single man. If we are like that then I’m sure we’ll get a result.

‘Everyone’s playing brilliantly and he`s the icing on the cake for us at the moment, it could be another person next month.

‘Everyone chipping in is really important and I think that all going to add up to a winning ingredient come the end of the season.’

The striker will be looking to break a goal drought of 12 games after some incredible early season form – he is set to start this weekend subject to the game going ahead.
